Detroit; Hitsville U.S.A

Hitsville U.S.A is the name of Motown Records base that can be found in Detroit. Hitsville is currently one of the leading attractions of this huge city, together with the Motown Historical Museum. Motown used to sponsor new bands and gave way to such new musical waves in the U.S. which would have seemed back then, like the   underground music styles seem today.

Motown has lead such famous bands to success as the Jackson 5 and the Funk Brothers or Lionel Ritchie. Motown Hitsville is represented by some beautiful colorful buildings, which together make the site, together with the museum. Hitsville is a must-visit site for all music-lovers and for cultural sightseeing.
